Temporary Road Closure at Stoke Row, Newlands Lane

 

A request has been received from ‘1st Choice Traffic Management’ for a temporary road closure to apply to a section of ‘Newlands Lane’ whilst ‘Install 9m of one way poly duct in carriageway’ works are carried out.

A temporary Notice is being made to implement the temporary closures and will operate from the 15/08/2019 to and including the 16/08/2019 (full closure 24hrs each day).

Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for those frontages within the closure area, subject to the progress of the works and liaison with the works supervisor.

A copy of the drawing showing the extent of the closure and also the alternative routes for traffic is attached.

 

You may have seen bus timetables appearing at stops and/or notice boards in the village advertising a new bus service to Henley operating on Thursdays from 25th April.

Services are timed to connect with trains at Henley (and Goring), buses to Reading at Peppard Common (Unicorn) or at Woodcote so passengers are not restricted to just going to Henley or Goring, where the service starts.

Temporary Road Closure at Henley on Thames , Stoke Row Road

A request has been received from Thames Water for a temporary road closure to apply to a section of Nottwood Lane whilst a new water mains connection is carried out.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is being made to implement the temporary closures and will operate from the 20th May 2019 up to and including the 23rd May 2019. This is a 24 hour closure.

Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for those frontages within the closure area, subject to the progress of the works and liaison with the works supervisor.

Temporary Road Closure and “No Waiting” Restriction at Stoke Row, Nottwood Lane

A request has been received from Thames Water for a temporary road closure to apply to a section of Nottwood Lane whilst water mains Boundary Box works are carried out.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is being made to implement the temporary closures and will operate from the 10th June 2019 up to and including the 12th June 2019. This is a 24 hour closure.

Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for those frontages within the closure area, subject to the progress of the works and liaison with the works supervisor.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an attempted burglary in Stoke Row Oxfordshire.

On 20th October 2018 between 04:30 – 05:00, a property in Main Street had an attempted burglary. No entry was gained.
