You may have seen bus timetables appearing at stops and/or notice boards in the village advertising a new bus service to Henley operating on Thursdays from 25th April.

Services are timed to connect with trains at Henley (and Goring), buses to Reading at Peppard Common (Unicorn) or at Woodcote so passengers are not restricted to just going to Henley or Goring, where the service starts.

The fare is £3 for any single journey on the section of route between Goring and Stoke Row, or between Stoke Row and Henley.  Journeys that cross the Stoke Row 'boundary' cost £5 single or £8 day return.  Concessionary pass holders travel free and it's half fare for children aged 5-18.  If you have a railcard you can buy a single ticket and come back the same day for free.  Walkers (including those with dogs!) are always welcome - hop on the bus for a few stops and walk back or vice versa.  The bus will stop anywhere along the route where it is safe to do, just give a clear hand signal to the driver so he knows you want to catch it, and a shout when you want to get off!
