What does a Parish Council do?

They are volunteers who represent the interests of the community and work to improve the local environment and quality of life.

On a practical level in Stoke Row the Parish Council works to improve the facilities available to the community. They are involved with reducing litter, aspects of planning and highways,  and maintaining the assets within the village. Often we are the link between the many elements that make up the community. They are a vital link with South Oxfordshire County Council.

Parish Councils cannot function without these volunteers.

Why not come along to our next meeting on 26th March 2020 and see what we do?
